Basement Cleanouts in Lithonia

We empty basements of old furniture, soggy boxes, broken exercise gear and everything else that has piled up. You get a realistic arrival window, an upfront price before we lift anything, and a crew that protects your stairs and walls on the way out.

When it's time to clear the basement

A basement collects things a little at a time. Leftover boxes from a move, an unused treadmill, a couch that never made it upstairs. Then you need the room for an office, a remodel or a home showing, and it feels like too much to tackle on your own.

That's our part. We handle the lifting, the trips up the stairs and the sorting, and when the load fits, it all leaves in a single visit. If you just have a few big pieces, furniture removal or appliance removal may suit you better.

You'll know when we're arriving and roughly how long it will take, and we update you if that changes. Same-day and next-day service is available, based on the job size and how our week looks.

What comes with a basement cleanout

Everything carried up and out

We take it all up the stairs or through the walk-out door, big items too, like old freezers, pool tables and sectionals. Nothing has to be staged in the driveway ahead of time.

Protection for stairs and walls

Narrow basement stairs scuff easily. We cover railings and corners with pads and lay runners wherever heavy pieces pass.

Care with damp or moldy things

Boxes and carpet scraps that have absorbed basement moisture often come apart in your hands. We bag them and carry them out with care so the mess stays out of the rest of the house.

Sorting for donation and recycling

Household goods and furniture still worth using can be donated, and metal from shelving and old appliances is recycled when possible. The rest goes to a proper disposal facility.

A swept floor at the end

When the room is clear, we sweep it so you can see the space you have to work with.

Signs your basement is ready for a cleanout

  • You can't reach the water heater or panel

If boxes block your water heater, furnace or electrical panel, a repair visit gets slower and harder. Clear access matters.

  • There's a musty smell that won't quit

Old fabric, paper and cardboard hold onto humidity, especially through long Georgia summers. Getting them out is often the first step toward a drier basement.

  • You're planning a renovation or sale

Contractors need an empty room to start, and buyers want to see the space. A cleanout ahead of either keeps your timeline on track.

  • Stuff is stacked on the stairs

When items start creeping onto the steps, it's a tripping hazard as much as a storage problem.

  • You've inherited someone else's basement

Settling a family member's home often means sorting decades of belongings. We work at your pace and set aside anything you want to keep.

How the cleanout day works

  1. 1

A phone call to set the plan

Tell us roughly what's down there and whether the basement has a walk-out door or interior stairs only. We set up a free on-site estimate or give you a ballpark if the job is simple.

  2. 2

    A clear arrival window

We give you a realistic window, not an all-day wait. If traffic or an earlier job runs long, we call you before the window passes so you can adjust your day.

  3. 3

    Upfront price, then we start

Our crew walks the basement with you, points out anything you may want to keep, and confirms the price before lifting a single box. Upfront pricing with no hidden fees means the number doesn't change once we begin unless you add items.

  4. 4

    Carry-out, load and sweep

We protect the stairs, carry everything out, load the truck and sweep up. Most single-room basements are done in a few hours, and we tell you ahead of time if yours will take longer.

What sets the price of a basement cleanout

We price basement work mostly on the truck space your things take and how hard they are to bring out. Both get checked during the estimate, and you get a single clear figure before we begin.

How much is down there
A few boxes in a corner run much less than a basement filled from wall to wall. The price tracks how much of the truck we use.
Getting it out
Walk-out basements clear faster than ones with a narrow inside staircase and a tight turn at the top. Hauling heavy pieces up steep steps takes more crew time.
Heavy or unusual pieces
Safes, pianos, old chest freezers and cast-iron equipment add weight and handling time. Appliances can also bring recycling costs.
Things damaged by water
Wet boxes, drywall scraps and soaked carpet weigh more than they look and need careful bagging, which can make the load bigger.

Questions about basement cleanouts

Something not covered here? (404) 947-5436

Does someone need to be home during the cleanout?

It helps if you are there at the start so we can settle what goes and what stays. Plenty of people then leave us to it and come back to an empty room. We give you a call when the work is finished.

Do you haul things ruined by a basement leak?

Yes. Soaked boxes, rugs, furniture and old carpet can all go on the truck. If the water damage meant structural repairs, our construction debris service can pick up the drywall and building scraps once the repair work is done.

Who will be working down there?

People on our own crew. The company is licensed and insured and enrolled in E-Verify, so anyone carrying your things through the house has been checked.

What happens if you're running late?

We call you with an updated time before your window ends, and you decide whether to keep it or move to a different slot. You won't be sitting there wondering.

Will you go through boxes to find things I might want?

We leave personal boxes sealed unless you ask us to open them. If you want a hand sorting, walk through the space with us and we'll set aside whatever you point out before anything is loaded.

Where can I see how your jobs have gone?

We have over 1,200 Google reviews from customers in Lithonia and nearby towns such as Stonecrest and Conyers. Reading a few gives you a good sense of how we handle work like yours.
